How to care for your silicone tableware
Silicone is a durable material that withstands heat, cold, and daily use. After dishwashing, white, chalky spots may appear – these are harmless marks from hard water.
To restore the soft, matte surface you can either:
• Place in boiling water with a drop of dish soap for at least 30 minutes.
• Or, wipe stains with lemon, lime, or white vinegar.
For stubborn stains, boil for 15 minutes or make a paste of white vinegar and baking soda. Leave overnight and rinse well.
If the silicone has absorbed scent, boil for 20 minutes or heat in the oven at 120°C until the smell disappears. With simple care, your tableware stays clean, soft, and safe – meal after meal.
